Pathos Laser Open Pro Speargun Review
In this video, Andrew goes over the features of the Pathos laser open pro speargun.
This speargun features an aluminum barrel that has a "shark skin" texture to it. This rough surface texture is meant to minimize friction while diving, and to provide durability. The barrel also has a rail for accuracy. The gun comes standard with an open muzzle, twin 16mm bands, and a 6.75mm shaft with shark fin tabs and a tri-cut tip.
The laser open pro uses the D'Angelo 2 handle, with a stainless steel reversed trigger mechanism and an ergonomic handle. A few things to be noted about this handle/trigger system is the line release and the safety. The line release which is located on the top of the gun is quite small, and will work great for single wrap set ups however divers may find a double wrap set up to be impractical. The safety on D'Angelo handles tend to be more difficult to engage and disengage when compared to other safety mechanisms.
Overall this speargun is a solid choice for anyone looking for a railgun with a great ergonomic handle.
